Which remedies are best for chronic conditions such as Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia?

These are complex conditions and deep rooted and the application of Dit Da Jow liniments and gels may take some time to have any therapeutic effect, and it will depend on the severity of the condition.   I would advise checking before using these products if you are taking other pain control or blood thinning medications.

I would not advise using Dit Da Jow products during pregnancy.   I would recommend a course of acupuncture especially for lower back pain while pregnant.

Why would I choose the Dit Da Jow Balm?

I use this product extensively in my clinic as it melts easily when applied to the skin and spreads well.   It is great to keep in you bag and dose not leak.  Patients and Martial arts report that it is very effective at relieving pain and discomfort in the major joints.

What is San Huang San used for?

San Huang San is used for acute injuries like a twisted ankle or knee.   It is very cooling, moving and descending in nature and will remove heat and swelling in acute injuries.   It can be applied as a poultice, or you can dissolve 15g in 100ml of gin and vodka and apply this liniment to acute injuries when they occur.

I bought one of your herbal kits, how much alcohol / surgical spirit do you add to water?

The most important thing to remember is always mix your surgical spirit and water together in a separate container before adding the herb kit.  Usually I would add 25% of the volume of the jar with the required V/V surgical spirit / water solution, add the herb kit and then fill to the top with your remaining premixed solution.   Give the jar / container a very good shake and seal the lid with Duck Tape.  Store the Dit Da Jow solution in a cool dark room for at least 6 months.

I you don’t mind the cost of using expensive vodka or gin this is the easiest option as it is already at the 40% V/V that you require.  You simply add the herbs to recommended size jar and top up to the top with vodka and gin.   If you are using surgical spirit makes sure it contains ethanol and not isopropyl alcohol as I would not recommend this for regular use.   Making up this at the correct alcohol to water V/V can be complicated and I recommend you follow the instructions on the website / information leaflet or contact me, and I will make up the alcohol for you

Do you ship to the EU Countries?

Yes, we do ship to the EU and Dao Holistic is registered in the UK / EU IOSS scheme for parcels under €150.   If EU orders are placed which are above €150 then it is probably that these orders will incur customs duties and delays.  If larger quantities of Dit Da Jow are required, it is better to split the order into two separate orders of less than €150 or purchase a Dit Da Jow (Northern Shaolin) kit and make it yourself.  Herbal kits for the Dit Da Jow Golden Lotus are not available as this two complex a formulation for making at home and I recommend you buy this liniment from me.
